Pictures of the house.. Before paint.

Ok, it has taken me a bit of time to collect these photos. Some were on my phone, some on Zach's and then a few were on our digital camera (which i could not find the cord to). But, I was able to get them together.

There are quite a few pictures, so there might be a few posts.

We are a bit bummed that we did not get pictures of the house before we started working on it. We kept forgetting the camera every time we came. I had a few on my cell phone, but it decided to delete them all by itself. Grr.

There was a HUGE brick mantel on this wall. I would say right where that bucket is. We decided to demo the fire place. Plug it up and build a wall in front of it. Before anyone says anything, trust me when I say it was massive, not put anywhere that was smart. It took up just about the entire wall and was not centered. I am so glad it is gone.

Now with building a wall comes mudding and sanding. So much fun. Ok, not really.

Me, prepared to start sanding. Notice the power sander. Lucky we had that. Also, notice the nasty kitchen wall in the background. Yuck.Me after sanding. There was so much dust! I had white buggers. Here are the colors that we picked. The green is in my kitchen and the brown in my living room. Keep in mind, the paint is wet and only one coat (in this picture). They really look good together. Thanks so much to Sonya. She is the one that helped me down the path to these colors. I really am in love with them.
