I know that there are people on both sides of the fence about this situation. I, myself, was against this passing. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that being gay or lesbian is right. But it is none of my business who is and this does not make those people bad people. They are human beings. Humans that have emotions. I have no right to tell someone that they can or can not marry someone that they love.
The video I have posted pretty much sums up how i feel about the situation.
Please take a moment, put all prejudice aside and listen to this with an open heart.

Thank you SO much! I had to call John upstairs to look at this with me. I was in tears by the end. He put it all so eloquently. It really is exactly how I feel. I keep hearing how if Gay people can marry the world will...and nobody can finish that sentence. And nobody can explain why the world will be any different, other than having happier people. And fewer suicides by those who are so conflicted with who they are and who they "should" be that they just can't take it and leave this world on their own terms. If we could get past that, if people could be TRULY accepted for who they are, the world would be a much better place. I am TOTALLY stealing this and putting it on our blog. I hope you don't mind!
Of course i do not mind! Spread the word. I actually got this from a friend that posted it on Facebook. I put in in my blog and on my Myspace. His words are perfect and the feelings sincere. People need to stop judging others. It it not our place.
I have had 6 of my friends break up and get divorced all were the last 2 months. He is totally right, we only have 50/50 chance of making it ourselves why not give someone else that slim chance? There is so much evil in the world why not spread love around?
